These terms and conditions govern the sale and supply of downloadable ebooks available for purchase on the Guide to Malaga website.
If you wish to buy any of the ebooks available on the Guide to Malaga website, you must agree to these terms and conditions.
Vendor information
Guide to Malaga City SL (a Spanish registered company) is the vendor of the ebooks available on the Guide to Malaga website. The company is domiciled in Spain (Calle Pilar Lorengar 10, 29004 Malaga). You can contact Guide to Malaga through Joanna Styles (CEO) at joanna (at) guidetomalaga.com.
Ebook format
All the ebooks for purchase on the Guide to Malaga website are available in pdf format only. In order to open and read the ebooks, you need a pdf reader (such as Adobe) installed on your device.
Once you complete the purchase, you receive an instant download of the ebook on your device and an email receipt containing a link to download the pdf.
Order process
Buying an ebook from the Guide to Malaga website involves these steps:
- You must provide an email address (used to send you the link to download the ebook and send you the purchase receipt).
- You must consent to these terms and conditions and our privacy policy.
- You choose to pay through your PayPal account or with a debit or credit card.
- On the payment platform (Stripe or PayPal), you provide your debit or credit card details or login to your PayPal account to finalise payment, and the details requested (e.g. email address, first and last name, mobile phone number and/or physical address for billing purposes).
- You receive an email confirmation from Guide to Malaga with a link to download the ebook in pdf format.
Ebook prices
All the prices for ebooks available on the Guide to Malaga website are quoted on said website in euros (€). Payments are only accepted in euros (€).
If your debit or credit card is in a currency other than the euro (€) such as US dollars or UK sterling, the price you pay for the ebook may differ from the one quoted on the Guide to Malaga website because of the exchange rate charged by the issuer of your card. Guide to Malaga accepts no responsibility for price differences due to exchange rates and provides no refunds for said differences.
Payments
All payments are made online through secure and encrypted third-party payment platforms such as Stripe and PayPal using a debit or credit card or PayPal account.
Data collection for ebook purchases
In order to provide you with your ebook, Guide to Malaga collects your email address (necessary to send you the link to the ebook download). The third-party payment platforms (Stripe and PayPal) may collect your first and last name, email address, physical address (for billing purposes only), mobile phone number, credit card or other payment information for payment and communication purposes.
Guide to Malaga can only access your first and last name and email address. The payment information (e.g. credit card details, mobile phone number and physical address) is collected by the secure payment system (PayPal and Stripe) in operation on the Guide to Malaga website. Guide to Malaga has no access to credit card or other payment information, your physical address or mobile phone number.
Use of your debit/ credit card information
Guide to Malaga has no access to credit card or other payment information. Guide to Malaga makes all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure your payment details including your credit card number are kept strictly confidential by using only third-party billing services (Stripe and PayPal). These services in turn use industry-standard encryption technology to protect your credit card number from unauthorised use. However, by accepting these Terms & Conditions you understand and agree that we are in no way responsible for any misuse of your credit card number.
Purchase cancellation
Once you have finalised your purchase and received an email from Guide to Malaga with the link to the ebook download, you cannot cancel your order and you are not eligible for a refund.
Right to withdrawal
When you buy an ebook from the Guide to Malaga website, the right to withdrawal (as set out in Art.103 of the Spanish Law for Consumer Rights) is not applicable because the ebook is a digital download and as such, not subject to any physical hardware. By accepting these terms and conditions, you give up the right to withdrawal.
Refund policy
Guide to Malaga issues no refunds for ebook purchases.
Copyright protection
All content (copy, images, statistics, intellectual property, etc.) in the ebooks available on the Guide to Malaga website are protected by Spanish and international copyright laws. Reproduction and distribution of the content without written permission is prohibited.
Disclaimer
Guide to Malaga has done its upmost best to ensure the information in the ebooks available on the website is correct and up to date. However, Guide to Malaga accepts no responsibility for any loss, inconvenience or injury that may arise to anyone as a result of the information included in any of the ebooks available on the website.

If you purchase an ebook from the Guide to Malaga website, you may:

Prohibited uses of ebooks purchased on Guide to Malaga
If you purchase an ebook from the Guide to Malaga website, you may not:
