Madeinterranea Suites sits on Calle Andrés Pérez, one of the most interesting and atmospheric alleyways in central Malaga. You’re a few minutes’ walk from Calle Larios and all the main attractions, plus shops, cafés and restaurants are on the doorstep.

La Malagueta beach is about half an hour away on foot, although buses from the Alameda Principal get you to the sands in about 15 minutes.

Bear in mind that the hotel is on a pedestrian narrow street so there’s no car access – if you take a taxi, you’ll have to walk the short distance from Calle Carretería.

Madeinterranea Suites has just 12 rooms, each is elegantly designed and several include original elements from the historic palace. Décor is minimalist, with neutral tones. Guests can choose from:

• Superior Double Rooms: with a king-size bed or two singles.
• Deluxe Double Rooms: slightly more spacious and again, with a king-size double or two singles.
