Cristine Bedfor Guest Houses Malaga

Cristine Bedfor Guest Houses Malaga is one of the newest additions to the city’s hotel scene (it opened in June 2025). It sits in a traditional townhouse, with a prime location in the heart of the old quarter. This accommodation is all about the decor and design, so expect a hotel full of vibrant colour and objects at every turn.

Location

This hotel sits right at the heart of the old quarter on Calle Granada, in the midst of all the action. However, the hotel’s designers have incorporated plenty of sound insulation – curtains at doorways muffle noise from inside and out – and guests mention how surprisingly quiet it is. However, bear in mind that weekends are busy, so expect some disturbance from outside. Or choose one of the rooms facing the interior patio (so no outside window).

Plaza de la Constitución is minutes away, as are the Cathedral and Picasso Museum, and other must-see attractions. You’re also spoilt for choice for cafés and restaurants – the adjacent Plaza Uncibay buzzes with dozens of terraces. And excellent shopping is on the doorstep in Calle Larios and nearby streets.

Rooms

This boutique hotel has four types of rooms:

  • Singles – generously sized (14m2), with queen-sized beds. Note, however, that the single price isn’t much cheaper than a double.
  • Doubles – large rooms (21m2) with king-sized beds (or two singles).
  • Cristine’s Choice – accommodation designed to sleep up to four people.
  • Cristine’s Superior – also able to sleep up to four people, with optional sofa bed.

Accessible accommodation is also available.

Note that not all rooms have exterior windows. If you like being able to see outside, request a room with an outside window.

Facilities

Cristine Bedfor Guest Houses Malaga prides itself on the details offered to guests. They include:

  • A tablet for use in your room.
  • Pillow menu.
  • Robes and slippers.
  • Early check-in and late check-out.

The hotel provides a buffet-style breakfast, sometimes included in the price. If it isn’t, previous guests say it’s better value eating out – try Ana La Fantástica, for example.
