Location
If you fancy staying in the beating heart of the old quarter, this boutique hotel is for you. It’s literally steps away from attractions like the Picasso Museum and Malaga Cathedral; the central pedestrian streets are outside the front door, with their buzzing vibes of shops, cafés and restaurants.

Rooms
We’ve already mentioned that LD Convento Cister used to be an 18th-century convent and the hotel’s designers wanted to include as many of the original features and ambience as possible.
For a start, each of the six rooms – this is one of the smallest hotels in Malaga – is named after one of the convent’s founding nuns. Then, the design incorporates wrought-iron window grills, beams and original panels. Quotes from Saint Benefict painted around the space also nod to the building’s past.
However, this hotel is also as modern as can be, with contemporary design, elegant décor and full soundproofing (a must in its busy central location).
There are just two types of room: deluxe queen or king (referring to the bed size) and superior king. This latter includes extra space and sleeps up to four people.
The minimalist style with wooden accents gives a warm vibe, while creating a peaceful, serene atmosphere.
