Restaurante Bar Oña has been serving great churros in Malaga since 1969, so they obviously know what they’re doing. Their take on churros come chunky and crispy, a great option for an early-bird breakfast. This churro venue in Malaga is off the beaten track, near the Hospital Civil. To get here, take the No 7 bus from Alameda Principal or use up some calories during the 25-minute walk to get there.

There’s also a good value daily menu for €14.90 (€2 extra on Sundays) if you’re around at lunchtime.
