Casa Aranda
A classic (and very busy) venue for churros in Malaga and one that locals visit time and time again. The churros are the classic Spanish type (known as porras in Madrid) and come thick and juicy. Order two or three for a generous serving for one person. Waiters serve hot chocolate and milk for coffee in giant metal kettles that they wield in and out of the tables with surprising skill.

Casa Aranda owns several premises in the street and you can sit in or outside on the large terrace. Be prepared for long queues at weekends and during big occasions in Malaga such as Christmas and Easter.
