La Fabrica de la Cerveza

This giant venue in the heart of Soho is owned by the Cruzcampo beer company. Fitted out with an industrial vibe – think giant beer vats and high ceilings – they brew seven craft beers on site and serve the usual house brands.

Food includes salads, burgers and snacks. Note that the restaurant opens Sunday to Thursday only – 1 to 4.30pm and 8.30 to 11.30pm.

Guided tours and beer tastings are available – check the website for details. Live entertainment several days a week (usually from 5.30pm). The official address is on Calle Trinidad Grund but you can also go in via the parallel Calle Vendeja.

This venue is popular with large groups, and, as a result, is loud and busy, especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
